Full Details
Our warranty takes effect immediately upon installation. To maintain validity, customers are responsible for basic product maintenance, such as keeping sliding tracks free of debris. Please note that interior trim or sealant must be painted within 6 months of installation to remain covered.
What is not covered:
- Broken glass or damage resulting from product abuse.
- Squeaking hinges or hardware supplied by the customer.
- Issues arising from a lack of proper maintenance.
To request service, please locate the Order # on the top left of your invoice or balance sheet before contacting us.
Transferability: To transfer this warranty, new homeowners must register in our system by providing the original order number and contacting us directly to update our files
Dashwood Windows & Patio Doors
Warranty Highlights
Lifetime Vinyl: Coverage against blistering, peeling, flaking, or corroding.
20-Year Glass & Hardware: Replacement parts for seal failure (insulating glass) and operational functionality of hardware.
12-Month Stress Crack Coverage: Replacement for glass cracks caused by manufacturing defects.
Full Dashwood Warranty
Dashwood (established 1928) provides comprehensive coverage for vinyl products.
While hardware functionality is covered for 20 years, this does not apply to the hardware finish. Internal mini-blinds carry a 5-year operational warranty and a 10-year seal failure warranty.
Transferability: This warranty is fully transferable at no additional cost, provided the claimant presents a copy of the original invoice.
VDK Exterior Doors
Warranty Highlights
Lifetime Composite Frames: Fully moisture-resistant and warranted against rotting or water damage.
20-Year Steel Panels: Guaranteed against warping, rusting, cracking, or buckling.
15-Year Glass Lites: Coverage for seal failures that result in obvious obstructions.
Full VDK Warranty
VDK Doors offers a Limited Lifetime Transferable Warranty on its manufactured products. Fiberglass panels carry a 10-year warranty against defects and warping (provided a multi-point locking system is used). Factory paint finishes are covered for 10 years, while stained finishes are covered for 5 years.
Transferability: VDK liability is limited to repair or replacement and does not cover incidental charges such as labor or refinishing.
Dorplex Entry Systems
Warranty Highlights
Lifetime Paint & Stain: Coverage against blistering, peeling, or uneven discoloration on Dorplex-finished doors.
20-Year Structural Integrity: Coverage for steel and fiberglass panels against rotting, denting, or buckling.
20-Year Decorative Glass: Protection against seal failure and vision obstruction.
Full Dorplex Warranty
Each door is warranted to be free of manufacturing defects for the product's lifetime under normal use. For stained fiberglass doors, a clear coat should be applied every two years to maintain the finish.
Transferability: No warranty work will be performed without the end user providing proof of purchase.
